Description

ART:

Ancient Civilization’s Art- Participants in this course will have the opportunity to learn about several ancient civilizations and their art.


MUSIC: Ancient Civilizations’ Music- This class will align as much as possible to the themes of the Art Class.  We will learn about several ancient civilizations and their music.  We will learn some percussion rhythms and play together as a group.  Students will also be invited to make their own instrument related to the topic of the day.  We will share their work with parents and students on the last day of the term.

I have been involved in homeschool enrichment programs for over 10 years. I enjoy helping students learn to ask questions and dig for knowledge. My preferred system of learning is leading students in project-based studies in geography, science, art and ELA. My hobbies include ballroom dancing, art, music, and birding.
