Party Planning- Summer Session 1

Description

We'll end each session with a party that the kids have planned from the ground up.  Students have a chance to make a little money on this one.  We'll spend the first 4 meetings planning the party: including coming up with a theme, a budget, and menu.  Students will also decide on a fee for attendees, devise an advertising strategy and invitations.  Students will help execute the plan on party day.  Whatever the net income for the event, students will split it.

I have been involved in homeschool enrichment programs for over 10 years. I enjoy helping students learn to ask questions and dig for knowledge. My preferred system of learning is leading students in project-based studies in geography, science, art and ELA. My hobbies include ballroom dancing, art, music, and birding.
